Just needed to blow some steam here... but I bought a laptop and am selling my desktop, so i burned all my stuff off onto dvds. my portfolio took 2 dvds to burn... and i accidently (after formatting my harddrives) stepped on the dvd with the most recent artwork (psd and jpgs) and is now unreadable.

So here I am... scanning the harddrives with unformatting software hoping the 20-80 meg psd files will be retrievable with 0% data loss (because it would then be worthless)...

So wish me luck...

I'm sure many of you have lost work in the past... I have as well... many many works of mine lost in the dead harddrive that still sits next to my desk in hopes of one day working... but really never will... but I can't seem to get myself to just throw it away!
